Internal/External Illuminator Switch on iR-7SS

   The 2010 Leaf River iR-7SS is a trail camera designed to produce high quality 7 Megapixel color day photos and black and white night photos.  The camera will also produce high quality video (MPEG-4 / 640x480 resolution at 30 frames/second) with audio. 

   The unit is equipped with a 5-eye detection sensor that extends a full 60% range on either side of the camera. The unit has Quick Shot mode which allows the camera to capture an additional second and third photo, if additional motion of heat is detected during the set pause period.  Outfitted with a large 2.4” internal viewing screen, the camera will hold up to a 2GB SD card as removable memory.

   *New features of the iR-7SS include improved firmware which produces sharper night images.  Another new and innovative feature gives the user the ability to use an “internal/external” switch to turn the camera’s illuminator ON or OFF.  The illuminator switch allows users, for example, the option to use a Leaf River iR-X or a series of up to four iR-X illuminators (external illuminator) from a vantage point above the camera and from various angles, which allows for pinpoint illumination and draws less attention to the mounted camera.  One iR-X can be connected to the camera unit, and the other three iR-X units connect together.  The iR-X connection cables are 5 ft. in length, which allows for multiple mounting options.  With these new features, Leaf River is also offering the iR-7SS at a new lower price.
